What is Metta Flow?
Metta means loving-kindness.
We know we should be kind to others but how many of us can truly say we are also kind to ourselves?
It is much easier to show genuine kindness to others once we learn how to show kindness, compassion and love to ourselves first.
Flow is a reference to being in a flow-state.
It is a mental state in which a person performing an activity is completely immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. Also known as "being in the zone"
This is when time flies, our ego falls away, and we allow ourselves to surrender to the here and now, and in doing so, we experience a sense of inner joy, love and peace. This is our true nature.
You can do anything
Yoga is not just a form of exercise, while asanas are the physical aspect of our practice, true yoga is just as much of a mental practice as it is physical.
Yoga is a way of life, a way to connect to a much deeper part of our being; uniting the mind, body and spirit for greater energetic alignment physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
